    Good idea , would be nice to get SWR exposure in the bjgs and added to the 40 man roster sooner than in the off season to protect from rule 5 draft , ..... Gee ! who to dfa to clear a spot ,, That's a hard one ,,, the fans would really miss pagan ...

    POSITIVE PROSPECT DEVELOPMENT IS THE KEY WORD ... These prospects are all rated in our top 30 list ... It's great that they are doing well and getting to the next level , step by step they have to continue to earn there way up towards the MLB level and earn there keep at staying , its difficult to preform at the major league level ... I like what they have accomplished and continue to be impressive and will really help the MLB CLUB ... I'd really like our homegrown minnesotans , varland and Wallner to lead the twins to a world series like hrbek did , sorry mauer you were not a leader ...

    Never quite certain that the FO will act quickly in free agency and grab a top tier player or pitcher , that hasn't been their MO , but this is the off season to do so , rodon a left hander is needed in the rotation but make sure they pass a thorough physical ... Nice to see Ryan have a couple of good starts towards the end of the season ....

    2021 was a total system failure and the worst season in twins history , most days you have hope the twins can win , in 2021 you knew everyday they were going to lose ... 2021 was worse than the 103 loss season , the 103 loss 2016 season they lost a lot of competitive 1 run games but in 2021 they lost alot of blowouts ... This season 2022 has been more successful and they did compete against bottom dwellers but couldn't win against winning teams , More work to do and injuries are just an excuse , better evaluation of players is needed that are added to the roster , stop the dumpster diving additions because that is what they are, GARBAGE , they are not depth in the system if they can't perform at the highest level ...

    In my opinion Rocco's head is not in the game , his coaches too .... Last year Wes Johnson went to the mound and made a visit , one Batter later Rocco walks out of the dugout to visit berrios and because that was the second visit in the inning , Rocco had to remove berrios when he had no intention to ... This year during a calamity bench clearing , against Houston I think, Rocco walked to the mound and umpires signaled mound visit number 1 , Rocco didn't see it and his coaches didn't either , Sanchez walks the next batter and out walks maki for a mound visit ,,, everyone tried to stop maki ( umpires ) but his head was planted to the ground , visit number 2 and Sanchez had to be removed ... In my opinion if Rocco and coaches heads are not in the game then how do you expect the players heads to be in the game .... That was the last straw for a defining moment for me that Rocco and coaches are not capable to succeed in winning baseball games ... If the fans are frustrated , the players could also be frustrated but keep it in house ...

    Oh I forgot this ... I'll be pleasantly surprised if the twins do finish above 500 .... It was a better season than 2021 but still needs some help and I would start with coaching and ????

    We have a few options in AAA and AA that might be better options than a few we have on the roster now .... I don't like excuses and injuries are enormous but when the rookies replace the injured they become professionals and need to be ready for the opportunity ... stop using the dumpster diving method ... Easier said than done ...

    That's nice to see that some of our teams will Play in a post season , says something about our prospects and yes the one to watch is brook Lee ... Go cedar Rapids and Fort Myers ...

    The FO should resign , they go into hiding when losing and take credit when winning They haven't lived up to expectations and their promises are lacking , they can not win with this plan ... DID ANYONE HEAR LAST WEEKEND WHAT FALVEY SAID IN AN INTERVIEW ? , I missed it 2019 was a fluke career year for players and we finally beat the Yankees at something , 307 homers verses 306 homers but can't win games ... ace pitching and good bullpens will win games and be contenders in the playoffs .... Free agency is risky the FO says but so is trading for players at a cost to our pipeline .... Have we been jinxed , seems like it or the plan is not working ... The plan , the plan , the plan ... Smiles everyone ...

    What has happened to the bomba squad , it's non existence ... Can't score runs in scoring position without the bomba squad ... We stopped hitting bombas and management is still playing the same way as if we are ... No small ball with runners in scoring position , I understand the no bunting to move runner up a base and not give the other team an out ... What I don't understand is with no outs and a player hits a double and we don't bunt him over to third and then hit a sacrifice fly to the outfield to score the runners , when one plan isn't working you have to improvise to another plan ... Looking over the stats of the players this morning and most of them are pathetic and in my opinion that is reflective on our coaching .... We have a rookie miranda leading the team in RBI's with 61 , we will not have a player reach 100 rbis since Eddie Rosario was here ,,,, no player will accumulate a 100 runs scored since Dozier i believe , I remember when players hit 40 or more doubles a year , arraez leads the team on doubles with 28 , Buxton with his speed should have hit 40 doubles before he went on the IL if he was hitting this year ... he does lead the club with 28 homeruns but only 51 rbis , that was not a productive season as his homers were mostly solo homeruns ... Batting average is led by Arraez's 315 average , followed gordon 281 followed by Correa 278 , Miranda at 275 and urshela at 267 followed by Polanco at 237 , the rest suck ,, I think average , rbis and runs matter and a ball not in play ( strikeouts ) suck ... Anyone not protecting the plate with two strikes and strikes out looking should be fined , any runner not injured should be fined for not running a ball out ( see kepler a couple of weeks ago standing at home while the ball was fair , confused he was ) you run everything out and don't leave your fate to the umpires ... We need change of coaching ... Our moderators have asked us not to use names, third base needs another change in coaching , pitching coach definitely should have a new coach replacing the departed Wes Johnson , some would believe a hitting coach too , but until we get an even rhythm of baseball ( new school and old school baseball together ) I don't think a new hitting coach will change anything ... So are we divided on the concept of baseball , stay the plan or change the plan ....

    I wanted a 10 game winning streak , not a 10 game losing streak ... As mentioned by some above posts , we will not win with our coaching and the FO , They have no plan B to go to , they trust in plan A and continue to follow plan A day to day and continue to fail ... I batting order right now should be ... Arraez ... Gordon ... Miranda.... And our hot hitter at the moment , Correa ... Urshela ... Fill in the blanks for the remainder of the lineup and keep who is injured out of the game ..

    Once they reach the major leagues they are all professionals no matter what their prospect ratings are ... It's a physical and mental game ... They can't win because the team does not play baseball fundamentals .....

    We are now in third place and now we have 2 teams to beat for the division ... we have never been in third place since we led the division most of the season ... This team reminds me of the loveable losers ( cubbies )

    If I am surprised at the end of the season so be it ... I personally think we have no chance .... Couldn't beat , Chicago , Couldn't split with yankees and now we can't beat Cleveland .... You have to win some games to have hope and we haven't won enough games....

    Lots of if's , if's and if's.... Start with FO and manager , they are not leaders in the game as they try to mimic moneyball .... They may like their style of play but the fans sure don't ...

    Right now Joe Ryan is Joe Ryan ... He has done well at staying off the injured list so he is durable .... His fastball is deceptive and his secondary pitches a work in progress ... He's had ups and downs since his debut .... If he is a hard worker he should improve and after 3 years of evaluating him , we will know exactly what he will be ... I like him on the mound and won't rate him until I know what his real capabilities are in the next few years, people are to fast to judge someone as a savior ( Scott diamond comes to mind ) look forward to him having another good year next season ....

    It would have been great to see him pitch again and I'm sure we will ... BUT ... The front office blundered and thought a 29th player could be added to the 28 man roster , tgey were informed that Varland had to get sent back down to AAA ... Davis was dfa'd and Cole sands activated ...

    Though I agree with what you wrote about varland let's not get ahead if ourselves ... Varland has been nothing but consistent through the minor leagues and I did expect varland to do well and he did ... Really you need 3 years to evaluate what a player will be , there have been some exceptions .. Give credit where credit is due ... Varland deserves another start

    I like the defense of Leon better than Sanchez and jeffers ... He blocks better and that is what is lacking in major league catchers ... To many passed balls or wild pitches as there scored tend to lead to runners scoring from third base ... I want defense , Average is a plus
