    I too think Julien is expendable with others vying for infield positions ... SWR has made his debut last season ( one start ) and should be able to contribute when called apon , most likely will start at AAA ... LEE was considered the best college hitter in the draft and he showed great promise in his minor league professional debut , he is right around the corner at making his major league debut ... LEE will start at AA , move up to AAA next year and possibly make his major league debut if he stays healthy and keeps hitting , HE LOOKS THAT GOOD ....

    Superior defense there is no argument , his inability to make adjustments in batting is the argument .... I don't understand exactly why he bat's high in the lineup and has been a rally killer , he is just not productive enough and needs to move towards the bottom of the order ... Do all the stats tell Rocco that he is a cleanup hitter or am I missing something , he walked more as a lead off hitter but now he is more of a free swinger and walks are down some ... He had a tremendous year in 2019 and was fun to watch and then signed an extention , just like Mauer did in 2009 when he got his extention ... It was hard to think of Kepler getting traded after 2019 but that is when his value was the highest after he finally broke out with a career year , but his prior seasons weren't anything to get excited about as a hitter ... His defense is what keeps him in the lineup but please do not bat him higher than seventh until he earns it ...

    Man all this talk of if the right deal comes along , trade arraez ... The most exciting player next to Buxton ( when healthy ) , arraez could or would play every position if you asked him too ... You trade this 300 hitter and you will regret it , we need consistent at bat's and he has proven his consistency and played well at 1st base ... Yes I wish he played a little better defense or had better knees , but I'll take what he gives us and that's ( heart ) ... They trade arraez ( our spark plug major leaguer ) and im done with this team and FO ... The excitement will be gone ...

    The front office has never gave an inclination that they have ever regretted any moves they made ... They don't care if the fans regret their decision ... Unlike Terry Ryan who admitted he made a mistake with big papi ...

    He hasn't put pen to paper yet so he is still available ... I'm not into hearsay , speculation on where he will sign ... If he signs with the twins or any other team , that is his choice ... It will all come down to dollar amount with these free agents of today , he got the highest paid infielders salary last year from the twins , need I say more ...

    The deadline should have been yesterday if you want a plan A ... But seriously the winter meetings should be the deadline for signing Correa to get the ball rolling on plan A , boras will be there and most likely Correa will be to ( somewhere ) ... Get it done or move on after winter meetings ... I'm not really interested in the free agents because of the high dollars they receive , I like watching our own prospects develope ... Go twins ...

    A no on a trade ... We already have lost 2 of the better hitters in the lineup from 2022 , urshela and Correa , ( Correa could resign is a big ??? ) ... Polanco had a down year and yes it could have been due from injuries that he played through .... I'll take Polanco's bat in the lineup everyday if possible , he plays well , his defense deficiencies is his throwing errors ... trade Kepler , defense is good but lack of adjustments in hitting and Rocco batting him 4th is not a fit for the lineup ... KEEP POLANCO AS HE IS A PROVEN TALENT and cheap enough for the twins compared to other second basemens salaries ... If they haven't traded Kepler by now , why should they trade Polanco , Polanco's bat is more important in the lineup ... The twins have extended 3 players and only Polanco was worthy of it ... I'm sure Correa is telling the front office not to trade Polanco like he did at the deadline with Miranda ...

    Our current FO has only claimed one player in the rule 5 draft since taking over , 2017 Mckinney from the marlins who pitched some games for the twins and was returned back to Miami ... I guess they would rather spend the money on dumpster diving candidates ...

    Terry Ryan was always active in the rule 5 draft , mostly pitchers were selected and he had his fair share of success ... Current FO hasn't been as active in the rule 5 draft other than protecting players who they think have promise in contributing to the MLB ... Tyler wells was a loss for the twins because every team needs pitching , pitching and more pitching ...

    As posted by many he is not an ace , an above average pitcher maybe ... He was 3-12 in 2019 , he was 13-6 in 2021 with 180 innings pitched , his most in any season , a 500 record to date and a career Era of over 4 ... It's a shame the goal of 20 wins a season by a pitcher is not attainable by most pitchers ... A bulldog , stud or consistent ace he is not ... A good pitcher when healthy , can't wait to see the big red machine become winners again with the trades from twins and Seattle ...

    As I stated in yesterday in a post why hasn't the twins signed Narvaez ... Defense and leadership is very important to the success of the team at the catcher position ... He calls the game , he positions players in the field , he blocks balls in the dirt ( limit wild pitches ), he throws out a high percentage of base stealers, he doesn't allow pass balls .... We have lacked a defensive catcher for awhile and I'm tired of seeing the ball get by the catcher and the runner scores from third base ... CATCHER IS THE BIGGEST NEED FOR A TEAM, , pure and simple , pitching is next ... Both world series contenders this year had a great defensive catcher ... That my plan and I'm sticking to it ...

    Catcher is a very important position or was at one time ... Catchers used to be the leader of the field , he'd position fielders , he'd call the pitch , he'd block balls in the dirt , he'd throw out a higher percentage of base stealers, he'd be the leader of the team ... What happened, I don't know but they sure aren't what they used to be , also catchers were always considered a future manager ... We need a defensive catcher pure and simple , go get a good one ? and if he hits 250 so be it , it's the defense that is important ...

    This write up should be sent to all our top professional coaches that falvey has hired ... Let's hope his injuries were the cause of his poor season and he bounces back this season and possibly can help the twins or at least increase his trade value ... Balazovic and enlow need to improve this season for a chance at a twins career ...

    Yes we need pitching , I would wait at least 1 more year to evaluate what he brings to the table on a consistent level , he must learn to beat the better teams ... Arraez is the one to lock up extra years with ...

    Cody laweryson probably will get selected by another team in the rule 5 draft ... We need catching and no catcher is rated in the top 30 prospects ... Headricks a lefthander was protected and equal to laweryson as a right handed ... Nowlin might be a sleeper , schulfer is quite old to be a prospect ...

    I'm with you on pagan , if he was a minor leaguer getting a taste of the big leagues , he'd be sent packing to ride the bus in the minors ... Pagan may have the stuff to throw hard but he doesn't have the control, To many walks and Homer's , his better production the last couple of months is a mirage as he faced more rookies in the later months, I see pagan getting cut in 2023 like Duffy in 2022 once they realize his new pitch isn't the trick ... Good write up nick ...

    If you read Cody's post , he mentioned miscalculations and I just added my two cents worth .... if you like the additions the FO has made in free agency or by trades I'm happy for you ... Yes I am not impressed . But I also realize that you have to give up talent to get talent ...

    It would be nice if the young players could stay healthy and play a full year to really evaluate their talent at the major league level , they had good minor league stats but have been injury prone here at the major league level , they have shown SSS at the major league level , here's to a healthy season guys .... The pitching is solid for winning regular season games but I'm not encouraged enough that they will win playoff games ... Miscalculations on the FO has been the norm , they are not the smartest guys in the room ...

    I sure hope he comes back healthy and have a career ,,, Maybe comeback player of the year , he's young and has a desire to play the game of baseball ... he has a nice swing , let's hoe he can have a good career ...

    With his experience in the minors at 3rd base and hopefully hard work this off season to improve his defense , he should do fine ... Let the young players play and get the experience ...

    Enlow does need to show more promise in his comeback in 2023 or he will likely be cut from the 40 man roster ... We need pitching and definitely good pitching so give him the time to get it worked out as he showed good promise before his TJ surgery ...

    We already have had a few players released and picked up by other teams , Cave is the only player still remaining on a roster , Palacios and Hamilton have been left unprotected by their new teams ... I see us losing severino , sisk for sure , Williams maybe in the rule 5 draft ... Thanks Seth

    My sentiment exactly ... Fo needs to Stop believing he has upside and should have been non tendered , mitch ( the wild thing ) Williams was ousted out of Philadelphia after he blew the 1993 world series ... The twins fans deserve better , now trade him if any team offers anything ...
