    Strategy , what Strategy ... Rule changes have taken Strategy out of the game or some managers just don't have Strategy built into them and uses spread sheet maneuvers .... Yes I concur Manfred ball is horse manure and ghost runner is ridiculous , maybe they should compromise it some and start the ghost runner in the 14th inning if game is still tied ...

    It's 50 /50 it works out .... Low risk and reminds me of the pineda signing alittle bit ... The twins way , build a team with hope and hope it works out ... The fans are the ones that only should have hope and not the front office ...

    As a former player too , I would not play for this FO or Rocco and their plan ... The game the twins play is not exciting as years past ... They don't seem to be taught the right way to play PROFESSIONAL baseball ... They can't make contact in situational hitting and strike out ( no clutch hitting ) , they don't hit behind the runner to move them up a base , etc etc etc ... They run the bases and into outs with mind boggling mistakes ( its one thing being aggressive but their mistakes on running bases are mistakes ) ... Defense is suspect as they throw to the wrong base or can't hit the cut off man ... FO , Coaching and manager are suspect as their heads are not on the game ( see 2 mound visits on a player they had no intention of removing ) , once in 2021 and once in 2022 ) , You can have talent but you still have to play the game ( THE GAME , NOT ANALITICS ) ,

    balazovic needs to perform to stay on 40 man roster ... Enlow needs to prove he can make it back on the 40 man list ... Other past prospects need to stay healthy and contribute in a big way ... Royce Lewis will be fine with time ...

    Maybe we dodged the bullet , I sure hope he shows he's more capable and stronger after surgery this year , some say the second year after surgery tge player gets his feel and rhythm back ..... Time will tell , if he doesn't perform he will be released ...

    Marlins need hitters the twins need a pitcher that is better than Sonny Grayand with some team control ... I'm not going to speculate on who to trade for pitching , only Miami knows what they want ... Remember the cold weather will not make anybody better until it warms up and the twins have not been a good team in cold climate at the beginning or late in the playoffs ...

    If Correa could win a MVP it wouldn't hurt and be worth the contract ... If he is a true leader and helps the other players get better as mentor that is worth the contract too ...

    I go to games , I listen to them on radio and watch them on TV , my eye test tells me they are awful at scoring with runners in scoring position with no outs ....

    I agree to disagree , Rocco and the FO will never take the twins past a playoff series to a world series ... Yes Rosario didn't score a hundred runs but was our last 100 rbi player , I should have printed that ... I thought dozier was our last 100 runs scored but I believe you ... I hope we get our hope and the twins win some meaningful games into October ...

    If they trade arraez , I'm really thinking I won't be a twins fan for my entire life ... Or at least until we get different operations managers in our FO ... Buxtons defense and arraez approach in hitting make these 2 the most exciting players on the team ...

    I under stand the title that Correa saved the season but he and the others have to play the game to win ... The front office and Rocco need to implement a new plan that hasn't worked since 2019 or the past 2 season for sure , yes injuries were a big problem in 2022 but so was driving in runs in scoring position ... You see the ball you hit the ball , to many strikeouts and not enough clutch hitting , as a player developes he should have a better eye at the plate and cut down the strikeouts and create more walks ... Rbi's and runs do count and the twins have had problems scoring runs for a couple of years now especially with no outs and runners on third ... Have had a 100 rbi's or a 100 runs scored by any player since Rosario ... Change the plan so those runners score , bring back small ball , alot has to change in coaching and preventing injuries , rocco needs to know what his players are capable of and put them in winning situations ... I like Correa's attitude to win , and that he wants to take this team to the ultimate goal ...

    A number one draft choice ... We traded the only prospect pitcher labeled an ace in the minors named Petty to reds for Sonny Gray and another player , yes he may not turn out as an ace but he's doing fairly well so far ... Since all teams need pitching I personally wouldn't have given up such possible value for Sonny who has had a solid career but nothing fancy .... Lee is a switch hitter and very valuable to a team if he does perform at the mlb level , he'll do just fine ..

    The only trade from the west coast that has worked out remotely is maeda and we'llsee if he can be a comeback player ... San Francisco burned us , San Diego gave us crap so far and we paid the salary for Roger's to play in San Diego ... We always seem to pick up the LA angels rejects in free agency or minor trades and that hasn't worked either ... Falvine just hasn't had a good knack for evaluating talent , the only evaluation they are good at is how cheap they can acquire someone ...

    Payroll ... Spend it or not spend it , that is the question .... Cleveland had a low payroll last year and won the weak division but they made it to the playoffs and collapsed ... You don't need a large payroll to win , I say let the young players play and see where it gets us ,,, Would like for us to get a stronger bullpen and if we're winning at the deadline , then pursue a top starting pitcher for the playoffs push , a left hander is needed but at this time we don't need him , see if he has a bounce back season ...

    The one to watch is Lee ,,, if he can produce at AA and is better than what is playing on the 26 man roster , bring him up if he is mature enough to play in the show ...

    Your on to to something good , I like the creativity . I always have said a fixed salary and a contract ladened with incentives , all contracts should be incentitised and you'd get better performance from a player ... Remember our hero's of yesteryear played for peanuts and supplemented their baseball salary by taking jobs in the off season ... They gave us their heart in those days ...

    I just hope we can avoid injuries ... If not , I hope the prospects earn the right to play in the show and not be rushed ... Wallner was rushed because of all the injuries , his defense needs a lot of work ... Break spring training with the best players and if someone isn't performing at the major league level , replace them with someone who is performing hot in the minors leagues ...

    I also see a lot of others that need to prove they belong in mlb ... Without naming names the bullpen needs to prove they all can be counted on to contribute ... The offense needs to prove it can hit with runners in scoring position so that includes the entire lineup for the day ... And the coaching needs to prove it is capable of keeping its head on the game , 2 years running they haven't impressed me ... I'm sticking to my story ...
