    I agree way to early , way to early .... Give him the remainder of this year and next and see if he keeps making the right adjustments ... If i was FO I would at least suggest to larnach that he go to DRIVELINE and see if he can correct his flaws of not hitting the off speed pitches , or learn to identify them better and layoff them .... I'd give larnach one more year ...

    One step forward and then 3 steps back .... I guarantee the Twins will win a playoff game this fall if they make it .... They lose to the teams they are supposed to beat , they win against the better teams so that is my reasoning for winning a playoff game ...

    St. Paul saints ... I posted last night in thread that saints were starting 3 first round draft choices , 1 , 2 and 3 in the batting order , Lewis , Lee and larnach .... Another first rounder is on saints in Martin , all sounds exciting on paper but you just never know .... Larnach should go to driveline this winter and work on his off speed approach , last chance For larnach if he doesn't improve on off speed for 2023 , otherwise he is just going to be a bench player pinch hitting ...

    The clear flaws ... Make contact or strikeout , I'm not buying it .... I've watched other teams collect consecutive hits and walks, HBP , passed balls to score runs against our pitching , we've seen how our offense was in 2019 - 20 playoffs , swinging for the fences against elite pitching and we were eliminate ( skunked ) ... The Twins don't just need homeruns , they just need to make contact and hit and hit to the opposite field to move runners along and score ... We got till October to work on it as I have seen some improvements from some of the batters ....

    I don't know what to expect the FO to do ... Kepler has a .233 career batting average ( is that acceptable with his defense , and some say his defense is diminishing ) , Kepler had a career year in 2019 with a .252 average . He has never hit before or after 2019 , his previous high average was .243 in 2017 he has not been a consistent hitter or a clutch hitter since 2019 , like his defense all these years ( nothing but raindrops falls ) .. I'm glad Kepler has found some success but Kepler has always been a streaky hitter ,,, Everyone calling for him to be traded or dfa'd this year but now the tune has changed since the allstar break , WAY TO GO MAX , keep riding the high road please ... If the Twins resign Kepler , I hope we don't go back to demanding he gets dfa'd or traded , one year is enough ...

    Good game last night .... Good start exploding for runs in first three inning and Lopez pitched well with the pressure off ... Speaking of pressure , since the deadline the pressure seems to be off the players to win the division as Cleveland has almost conceded the division to the Twins as sellers .... Still In the game of baseball you have to hit and score runs to win ... I look at the stats and see things that need to improve after 114 games , no one has over 100 hits but a few have exceeded 100 strikeouts , Correa leads the team with 52 rbi's , Buxton leads the team in runs scored with 49 , Correa leads with 24 doubles , Kepler leads club with 17 homeruns , speed kills and Castro leads team with 28 stolen bases .... The hits , runs have to keep on coming , since the Allstar game they have improved ( except the royals series ) and I hope they can maintain the course and be hungry for the division .... Getting hot at the right time is a plus and I still would like a 10 plus game winning streak ...

    Looks like Cleveland for laureano .... missed it by thhhhhhhat much .... I think he would have been a better choice over Luplow , plays defense well with a good arm , injuries and suspension has hurt him for regular playing time ....

    What concerns me is that Rocco and medical team had no idea Ryan was playing through a groin strain ... Yes it players responsibility to report even minor bumps and bruises , but management should also be watching players perform ... Maybe it time to start giving penalties to unreported injuries , baserunning blunders , called third strikes , etc. .... We had a good week , better than expected ... What's our record against national league teams ???

    Yes this is Gallo's last stand for a major league contract .... ( see sano ) Gallo will be lucky to get a minor league offer next off season and maybe just maybe Japan would likely pass on him to , ( see Sano) ... I'm sure Gallo's salary was higher in 2022 with Yankees and dodgers than the 11 million we signed him for ... Twins have always seemed to over pay for reclamation projects with mlb deals , when a minor league contract would have gotten it done ..., Robles also comes to mind and there have been others in recent past with this FO ....

    If kuechel shined yesterday is was the only shine we had yesterday , the sunshine was missing .... Kuechel kept us in the game but he worked 5 nervous innings , Arizona hit some balls hard and some balls soft for infield and blooper hits ... It was a team effort and Kuechel has earned another start ....

    Trust them ??? It should be are they really leaders of the team ... Leaders lead by not going the long way around the barn , be straight forward on their definitions to the players and fans , if they continue to confuse the fans and media with their comments then what are they telling the players ... Them telling us one thing and then they do something different is not a good leader ...

    Tonight's game is what we have been expecting all season from the team ... Hope there are more games like this to come ... Can you believe it , 4 players got 3 hits each ... Can you believe it , Gallo struck out 3 times , yes you can ....

    We'll never know the real story ,that's just the way the FO operates ... Never a truthful statement to the fans , always leave them guessing ... If the Twins are like the 2022 white Sox that didn't upgrade at the deadline , than maybe we should definitely expect twiins payroll to be less next year ... And St Peter's statement last year , wondering why attendence is down , is he lost in the world of delusion ... I'd love to sit in on discussions and see how they operate , if it's like our government officials ( and i have sat in on those discussions ) then we are in for years of Hurt ...

    I was at the game tonight and came down to watch my veteran neighbor,raise the flag during national anthem .... The twins players had some fireworks , 3 solo Homer's were just enough to pull this game out ... The game was relaxing but dragged so it seems , again to many strikeouts and to many runners left on base , got to have some clutch hitting , bases loaded and 2 outs and Castro strikes out for 3rd out , same old stuff different day .... Fireworks after the game were good but the Twins managing a win was better ...

    I usually don't follow the lead but I'll go along with why just 5 , we have 26 players on the roster and it should be a team effort ,,, they aren't playing in harmony ... You would think they couldn't get any worse but nothing really supports them getting any better , 52 games left , first 110 games and alot of the games were hard to watch ....

    Bartolo Colon was very entertaining on the mound , probably off the field as well ... I remember his facial expressions everytime he got the ball back to pitch , he'd walk a circle , look up and roll his eyes some and was probably saying ... I'm 44 years old and can't believe I'm still pitching in the major leagues ... He was big sexy and added a spice of life to the Twins that year ...

    Well said , Terry Ryan was a class act and intelligent baseball man and I too had respect for him ... Remember he turned down the Toronto job for a bigger pay day to stay with the team .... I'm sure the current FO office is smart also but not in the same way ...
