In my continuing series of polls about the Twins in 2014 and beyond--which disappointment from 2013 will bounce back and be considered part of future success for the Twins (2015 & beyond)?

The easy answer is Hicks. I am going with Scott Diamond (probably one of the few) who came from nowhere to be good, now is back to nowhere and I am prognosticating a return to middle of the rotation starter (for no particular reason).

I think Willingham is the most likely to be good next year but I think Hicks and Worley are a lot better than what they showed last year. I went with Worley.

But I could be completely wrong and Worley may be out of baseball in a year.

I would love to see Worley & Diamond come back and have a great 2014.

I think it's unlikely, so I chose between Parmelee and Plouffe.

I went with Parmelee. WTH

It was a tough one between Worley and Hicks. I voted for Worley, but I would have felt just as comfortable picking Hicks. I think both of these guys will bounce back.

I wanted to vote for 3 but it would only allow one.

Willingham will bounce back... And Worley will bounce back.

I also like Parmelee for a bounce back... If... He gets playing time. If he doesn't... Scratch Parmelee.

I voted for Diamond on a total WAG. When he was good in 2012 it was because he could hit his spots. I think the elbow problems took him from being able to hit his spot almost perfectly to missing by a couple inches, and with his stuff he couldn't miss by a couple inches.

I'd have thrown my vote behind Willingham and Worley for the same reason (better health) this year as well. Hicks is the fun pick, cause he's the one most likely to turn into a star if he gets it together, I'm just not sure it'll be next season when he gets all the way there.

Plouffe plays with urgency after watching Bocaton mash balls all over spring training fields. Bounce back Plouffe.

God... I hope so... He holds a big chunk of the Twins future in his hands.

I voted Worley, if he bounces back I think he will have the most significance on the success of the 2015 team.

I would love for Diamond to bounce back, I have a feeling he will as well.

What are Hicks and Parmelee bouncing back from? Neither of them have shown much major league success..............ok, any really.

I went with Hicks based on minor league track record. You'd expect someone to struggle jumping directly from AA to the majors, though his struggles in 2013 were beyond what anyone could have predicted. If Hicks can struggle his way to a .240 - .250 average, his minor league track record suggests that his OBP could be around .340 - .350. And that would add a lot of value to the twins at the bottom of he batting order. Also, he's supposed to be really fast and have a really strong arm so I would assume his defense will improve to be an asset as well. As far as defense goes, he couldn't be worse than Willingham/Doumit/Parmelee/Arcia anyway.

Mostly likely Willingham...... if that's the case, I would immediately try to trade him. I can also see Diamond bouncing back if he's bounced back to the bullpen and used as a long reliever.

I picked Willingham. I also predict a two-year extension next October/November for $16-18MM. Twins will need a DH in the lineup with all the kids.

I think this has very little to do with Willingham (unless he stinks) and has everything to do with Hicks. If Hicks shows himself to have a future in our OF, then our OF and DH get too crowded in 2015 to justify 2/16 or 2/18 for Willingham

I went with Worley. It was between Hicks and Worley to me. I think Hicks rebounds too, but I think he is more likely to start in AAA than Worley.
