WORLD SERIES GAME#5 10/28/26

[Parfigliano]

Many people were saying there wouldn't be a game #5.  I say bring on games 6 and 7.

I'm usually a fan in this order: Twins, AL Central, AL, and then NL. Milwaukee, the smallest market in MLB, being in the Midwest, my having some connection to the city, and the Brewers being a fun team tip my preference for who I want to see win the series.

However, being greedy, I do want to see more baseball. So ... Brewers in seven. Looking forward to tonight's game.

Let’s go Brew Crew. Twins are my favorite by a mile but follow the Brewers as well. Big fan of Pat Murphy.

Obviously Miz throws hard but it moves as well. Smoltz with a good line “ if you have a long swing and are up against Miz you will be making a U turn”.

The more the better.

Tampa will need to throw everything including the kitchen sink the rest of the series. Rasmussen looks tired.

[Vanimal46]

Could have been much worse for the Rays

and he is done  after 4

Lots of sloppy fielding in this WS.

I don’t know Linus, that was a great play by Bauers. And he’s done it a couple of times.

Remember that guy from Ferris Bueller's Day Off?  Not Ferris, but his friend?  The guy who had a long neck, and sounded like Jim Backus?

How come he's pitching in the World Series for Milwaukee?

[Vanimal46]

Mis is a treat to watch pitch. Reminds me of Verlander in his early Tigers days but even faster

[Vanimal46]

Tampa is out of gas. 4-0 should probably do it… right?

[Tlaker]

If Miz gets hurt because of this mound…. sad

That walk off from Mis I would have guessed the game was being played in Milwaukee. Embarrassing for Tampa fans.

whole field is a joke -  watch when a ball bounces in the outfield -  DIRT  jumps up,  out of there in 2029 at least

It is artificial turf. Isn’t what is seen the the rubber particles that is placed between the fake grass blades

They made the rubber particles the color of dirt? I’ve seen black rubber particles flung in the air at the Vikings stadium… that last single looked like it landed on the beach.

Yes..

[Vanimal46]

Would 🚨old friend 🚨 Megill have found this magic in Minnesota? I doubt it… and that’s the problem.

[C-Gangster]

People always mistaked my late great grandfather for Uker and he would always play along. Proud of what the Brewers have accomplished!

[The Great Hambino]

The Rays had a better home field advantage during their home games in the 2020 World Series than this one

[Parfigliano]

Congrats Milw.

[Vanimal46]

Congrats to the Brew Crew! Much deserved when they dismantled the Dodgers in the NLCS

[David HK]

Sure glad the Twinks got rid of that stinkin' Megill. He ain't no good.

Congrats, Brew Crew!

[Aggies7]

I’ll probably never see the twins win a World Series.

You say dirt? Nope, it's a mix of sand and coconut husks

Alright, my sconnie friends will be happy. Fun club to watch which is good because we might be seeing them for a while.
