White Sox first team to advance. As much as I root against them in the regular season, it is a really fun storyline.

White Sox or Guardians are guaranteed a spot in the ALCS. How cool would that be? Must be pretty difficult to win the AL Central…

mlb's click-bait title for this was 'What's fueling Rice? It all starts with a balanced breakfast.'

When I clicked on it, I really hoped that it said that he ate rice for breakfast every day. That would have been too perfect.

MLB messed up their game times for the wild card games. Braves-Phillies has been the most interesting series and it was placed in the earliest time slot.

Who would have thought, Sonny Gray frustrated by his manager!

[Vanimal46]

Jomboy's pretty convinced Sonny Gray was using a sticky substance on his neck last night... Not sure if that's just the Yankees' fan in him, or if others noticed he had a substance on his neck?

Which of The Codi can we get to write something actually intersting like "Anatomy of a White Sox Rebuild"

Lots of good lessons to learn from the pain that fanbase endured.  Ones the Twins could learn now.

Every year as we turn the page from the Wild Card series to the divisional round, I get to thinking about the rest vs rust debate - how valuable is the bye in baseball relative to the challenge of picking up competitive games after a weeklong break against teams that have continued playing in games that count?

This is our fifth season under the current postseason format.  So far, teams that get a bye are 7-1 in the divisional round in the American League, but they're only 2-6 in the National League (the NL East champ is 0-4; maybe the Braves are playing some 3D chess in avoiding the bye this year)

In conclusion: I have no idea, as usual

BREWERS-PADRES-  on paper looks like a great matchup,   im hoping on the Brew Crew band wagon !!   who you guys like ?  dont like Braves and cant stand the Dodgers,

I find this story fascinating, weird, and hilarious all at the same time.

The Guardians turn around was related to having their volume turned up too high on Pitchcom.

White Sox, hit into their 3rd double play this game. Slightly favoring them, considering the turnaround from recent seasons.

White Sox seem to have a different kind of energy about them. It is really fun as a baseball fun, but not as an AL central opponent.
