Kreidler is a lot better than any of the fielder than last years Bride , Fitzgerald and gray this year …

probably the will give him a contract for next year …

That is one area they need to upgrade.  Kreidler has not done enough to say he should be on the roster next year.

Not sure if I am spending the money to go to Vegas…. that I would even care about any game going on in a kinda crappy facility

I unfortunately have to travel to Vegas 2x a year for work. It’s very clear the city is catering to the high rollers and nobody else. I was the expense account for the other 2 co workers that came with, and a standard 2 egg breakfast was $30 on the strip.

The As will draw well in Vegas. Very well.

Idk Chief… It does help that the city stole 2 teams from Oakland to keep that tradition going. But it’s way more difficult filling the stadium for 81 games vs. 8 or 9 Raiders games.

Agree...facility is a strange design,...there are plenty of visitors even in the summer. I will always remember the As heydays with Vida Blue, Rollie, and the gang...it will always be Oakland to me. Now that KC received approval to build a new one...the old-style design is disappearing.

The hockey team also draws well.

I think they're a lock to draw well.

I guess in 10 years we'll know

Yeah, maybe next move they can get real creative and head for Philadelphia or something.

Unless Caesar's is one of your clients, do the beancounters where you work ask any questions about why you're rubbing elbows with the high rollers at breakfast?  😁

....the fan base will be there if it has air conditioning....and the convention. promotions, advertising, attendance,  will be mammoth compared to Oakland...opposing team fans would rather go there than many other options

Could that be because of the people that come there from miserable winter climes and know a bit of hockey….. baseball in the summer in Las Vegas…. maybe not so much

The hockey team basically sells out every game in half the number of games.  It seems like everyone says they won't draw.  One thing you have is the visiting team's fans will go there, they may be more casual but they do follow their teams.

The famous Las Vegas low priced buffets have disappeared

All of my expense reports have been approved so far! I will be there in mid September again…
