If I thought the Twins were in line for anything meaningful, I’d be upset. For now, I’m just happy he remains a somewhat hopeful and healthy option going forward.

I think he'll become a serious asset. He pitched well through about 70 pitches, then lost ALL command.

I know Preilipp just gave up 7 runs, but this offense needs help and it's not just against lefties.  Is Zoll going to wake up and get them some help.  Jenkins needs to be up here, put Keaschall at 2B if you have to a few days a week.  Right now Clemens is unplayable from an offensive standpoint, he can move around and fill in.  But they need to do something, they can't keep doing the same thing and hope for better results.

Jenkins won't be the savior, but he should be able to help to some degree and maybe he will provide a bigger spark, you don't know until you try.

By the way, for those who refer to innings pitched by Prielipp from year to year, there is absolutely zero evidence or study relating innings pitched from year to year to injuries or to ineffectiveness. Prielipp is healthy and he is on a steep learning curve. Stuff happens.

We need some measurable upgrades when it comes to hitting, defense and base running. Jenkins is at least a step in the right direction. ATHLETE.

Some of that was that the Phillies adjusted too, they were not letting him expand the zone.  There were some no doubt misses, but there were a few close pitches they took.  He needed to adjust and throw it in there and didn't.
