There were some no doubt misses, but there were a few close pitches they took. He needed to adjust and throw it in there and didn't. Yes, he does need to learn and he is learning but it was the correct call to leave him in to pitch, precisely for a learning experience. While it would be sweet for the Twins to win the World Series this year I am stunned that they still have a solid chance at 81 or more wins. TCanWins, Church of Kreidler, h2oface and 2 others 4 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 16 Posted August 16 I have a hard time punting on the season and hoping for learning experiences when we’re tied for a playoff spot. Not knowing what’s happening next season, it would be nice to get to the playoffs even though we’d likely be out quickly. Postseason experience is also invaluable going forward for everyone involved. Conor should have been yanked after the third walk. The rest was unnecessary Western SD Fan, h2oface, thelanges5 and 3 others 6

There is no plan with Rojas, they love bulk guys more than anything else. It looks like it was one of those magic piggyback games tonight.
