Just posting that Hunter Greene is going to get his elbow looked at after he had pain in his last start.

Makes me think there is a reason he wasn’t dealt at the deadline.

Ok, back to the game

Did those of you watching the game on tv notice that Lewis glanced toward the first baseman just before the ball was thrown which Lewis bunted successfully to that direction?

If he's purposely setting something up for later in the game, or later in the season, more power to him.

If it's a tell, hopefully one of his coaches explains to him what that is.  😄

No RBI for you Vic, but we'll take what they're giving.

No RBI for you Vic,---  good

Did Caratini fall down twice going down the first base line to be thrown out by 2 strides on that double play ball. There is “catcher slow” and “Caratini slow”. My goodness!

Saw that too. Sucks for him. As much as I was interested in him, I don’t have access to medicals.

Edit: However… if any MLB team wants to sign a 36 year old that can top out at 70 MPH for a single throw, I have been cleared after my annual physical today.

Okay, Kremer, they got you your run.  Make it stand up.

@stringer bellsaid it better than I can. Are we witnessing his upside this season which is pretty meh? Do we think he will be a 25-30 HR guy in the future? I’m still skeptical about his long term fit here at 3B.

I’m willing to let the season play out here. Have to see if he can make adjustments. Lewis seems to be doing that. Keaschall I’d argue has made adjustments. Lee has to get to where he can produce again

I think he will settle into a decent utility player.  2nd 3rd maybe 1st.

Agreed. He’s in the bucket of players that need the rest of the season to decide on their future role.

Can't be walkin' Bobby

Why not?  He can't hit it over the fence that way, and the force out removed him from the basepaths.
