When Levine left, and Falvey promoted Zoll he said that Zoll had been very involved in a lot of trade talks and other transactions. Reading between the lines I think that was why Levine left. That doesn't make him qualified but he was the number 2 man in the baseball operations, it wasn't like he was just punching a clock. Western SD Fan 1
