Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Connor Priellipp’s ERA has quietly creeped up to 5.26 now, and no one has complained so far? Yet he’s the same age as SWR and he was considered garbage. I find that fascinating. Cris E 1

Not sure it will be Adams this time as they have to monitor the number of trips they send him back down to five. Probably will be whoever has to give some length the night before. mrtwinsfan 1

How did that work out. That is my point what has the team done to help him be successful, I do think he needs to stop talking so much as well but again when players just give cliches we rip them for that as well. That is why I think he should stop talking. I still think there is talent there and so did the Twins obviously, I am not sure giving up on him a third of the way thru the season is the right course of action. Hey no one has given up on him , quit yapping and show it on the field is all everyone wants and we will see him - im guessing after the break Cris E 1

Permanent Twins Fan Verified Member Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Great Job by the bullpen today. Striking out 7 and allowing just two hits. Good offensive game as well. They were scrappy, had timely hitting and only struck out 4 times. They were putting the ball in play almost every time up there. Good win and go for the sweep tomorrow. mrtwinsfan, Patzky, IndyTwinsFan and 2 others 5

Can’t imagine a worse outcome. My widow’s peeks are creeping up on me but still a full head of hair so far. Fingers crossed it lasts for another 20+ years. Never really developed that out pitch and as the league adjusted to him, it became even harder to pitch effectively. Book still out on CP, but his swing and miss stuff plays. Sim never had that to his game. mrtwinsfan 1
Twins_Fan_in_NJ Verified Member Posted June 3 Posted June 3 And I like Sim and rooting for him. He still might find his way in the majors but the Twins ran out of patience. Should they have? Probably not because cheap arms are everything in baseball but it is what it is. Church of Kreidler, mrtwinsfan and Vanimal46 3

Sim never had that to his game. That too. Preilipp shows signs of having a 2 strike out pitch. SWR tops out at having a 2 strike foul ball pitch making him throw more pitches increasing his probability of throwing a meatball.
