Let's do a starter comparison; 

Bailey Ober: went 9 innings, threw 89 pitches, threw 25 balls, walked zero, and allowed no runs

S-W-R: 3 innings, threw 88 pitches, threw 40 balls, walked 4, and allowed 6 runs

S-W-R has had his moments, but unless he figures something out, he is not an effect MLB starter. I'm rooting for him, but I don't see it right now.

It’s not a bad idea to try Sim in the bullpen, but I wouldn’t automatically expect him to be successful there. He just can’t put guys away, whether it’s 1st or 2nd time through the order.

Another start where Shelton needed to pull SWR sooner. He's got the whole bullpen healthy, he didn't have to let SWR go this far. I love that he lets the effective starters go long, but you can't use that same principle to bad starters.

-David Festa received a stem cell injection for his shoulder. He won’t throw again until June. 

-Cody Laweryson faced hitters at Target Field today. Next up might be a rehab assignment.
