Well, this sequence of events has been a welcome surprise. Joe Ryan is back on the mound, when I was 50/50 that he'd not only be done for this season, but a significant chunk of next season as well.

With the Taj Bradley injury I don't see a way to win either of the other two games in Cleveland. Hopefully Joe's arm doesn't fall off in the bottom of the third.

Nine games under .500 and 6.5 games back by Sunday night.

It would be nice if Twins would make some changes to the roster on some under-performing guys like Wallner and Clemens either being demoted or DFA. Outman really doesn't have much of of role, when your not winning games you don't have luxury of carrying a pinch runner with a record of 5 and 17 your last 22 games.  Would be nice to see some of the failing bullpen guys like Garcia and Banda moved on down the road too. I'm not ready to give up on Lewis or Lee yet. Keaschall needs to clean up his defense and focus. Working hard on being the worst team in baseball. To me Lewis, Lee and Martin get sat, for any mistakes but other guys like Clemens can take a really bad 1 pitch at bat and he get's a free pass from Twins management. Frankly Clemens has be a lousy player with a lot of opportunity late last season and now this. He isn't above average in anything, hitting, defense or speed.

I suggest they score more runs than Cleveland in the other two games. Then maybe they'll have fighting chance.

Glad Ryan is back on the mound so quickly!! Especially after today's Taj news... Hopefully we can pull out a win tonight 🤞🏻

Twins and LAA tied for an MLB worst seven wins in the last 23 games. Which team will come out on top (bottom) after today’s games?

The Angels could only score a rouge in Toronto as part of a 14-1 rout.  For the moment, the Twins are ahead!

Wouldn't be a surprise if he gets the start.

He will start and go three innings because he is not stretched out.  Then it will probably Adams, then we will have the St. Paul shuttle to get some 30 something relievers up here.

The big statistic is that the Twins are 9-22 in the last 4 seasons at Progressive Field.  You know what else changed at that time?  Cleveland changed their team's name.  Maybe the Twins should lobby to have Cleveland change their name back to the Indians for purposes of getting that mojo back? 😜

It would be funny if they spent money to lobby instead of spending money to make the team better... but I wouldn't put it past the Pohlads!

If rained out they cant lose.  Yea!!!!!!!!

One day closer to the return of Abel or Taj or someone... Twenty consecutive rainouts should about cover it. I'm sure Bailey and Sim can cover the cloudy days in between

There is a reason the Amgels only have given Suzuki a one year contract. That was not a good hire by the Angels.

I was actually surprised they gave Suzuki the job over Torii Hunter.
