Could be zero correlation and I honestly haven’t seen Abel pitch more that twice, but his body language doesn’t inspire confidence. I don’t know if it’s focus, enthusiasm, etc. Maybe it’s the weather.

Good question  , the head can withstand the cold except for the ears , the body has all the organs that need to stay warm  ...

More times than not I played HS baseball on days like this in MN. Yesterday was worse for me everyone involved. They got soaked in rain and it was almost as cold as today.

I will agree with you there, 30-40 degrees with high humidity like today, 90 plus percent, is far harder to take that hard freeze temps. with zero to very low humidity.
