If you go to New Comiskey, don't get the upper deck seats.

Old Yankee Stadium upper deck behind home plate was the definition of steep. Once saw a guy go after a foul ball, loose his balance and slide down the stands on the top of the seat backs. Fans near the front had to catch him to keep him from plummeting over.

Heights aren't so bad, I'm afraid of widths.

Depths are probably the most terrifying. You’ll never see me deep sea diving. I swim well enough to survive and that’s it

I just came in from gardening and reading the responses, is this more of the radical base running Baldelli talked about?

Grand Rapids, MN boy as I’m looking at his Wikipedia!

The goalie everyone to this day still emulates is Patrick Roy. Loved him. And Dominik Hasek with his legendary 2 pad stack

They guy killed about 5 NYR seasons

I had to go back and watch the play where Jeffers enticed the cut-off rounding 1st so Buxton would have better chance of scoring. Was Jeffers afraid to get hurt? Pull a leg muscle? I get that he had a mission, but it was completed and then he just gave up. Didn't make an effort at all to get in a good run down, Conceded the third out by standing there. And this game Toronto (other than Varsho ropping homers in center) is throwing the ball away on multiple occassions.

Sure, it wasn't likely for him to find a way safely to a base now, but a professional MLB player should at least try. I mean, these guys are in their 20s. And even minimum salaries (which is way lower than Jeffers is paid now) are comfortable compensation for giving it 100%.

Do you intentionally say stupid **** to get a rise out of others or do you just say stupid ****? Watch any other team play a game or two and if you see that play that's how it play's out almost every time. The player who takes the big turn to draw the throw to allow the run to score is generally thrown out without much of a "rundown" occuring.

Keaschall has really struggled defensively.

What do you think about Keaschall at 1B and a combo of Martin, Clemens, and eventually Culpepper at 2B for 2026?
