I'm not quitting on Lewis. He has the tools to be very good player but if he keeps struggling Keashall may overtake him in promotions over the winter. (assuming Keashall keeps outperforming Lewis)

At least Provus explained why Gasper is in the lineup.  But it stills shows Rocco's overreliance on analytics.  He wanted more lefties in against Lugo.  That works as long as you have all quality LH hitters, Gasper is not it.  And Martin is a better option despite the side of the plate he hits from.  Kind of says all you need to know about where the team is right now but Gasper should only be in there when everyone is injured.

Rocco said pre game he still can't do all baseball activities.   He needs to be 100%.  Rocco did his usual word salad as to when to expect him.  My guess would be it could be another week.

I hope so, but I have a feeling he will wind up on the IL after the Royals series.  This is kind of how they operate.

He’s not amazing with the glove over there but I’m fine with Clemens at 1B. He’s a solid bat and plays pretty loose. I don’t think Julien has a spot on next years roster but I get the theory of why he’s in the lineup at this point.

I expected more of a 6 or 7 inning  pitchers duel and the bullpen would be the deciding factor  ...

Fun to watch again,=  Amazing what a couple new guys  to a lineup that values putting the ball in play, without looking at strikes down the middle and not striking out over and over , alot of us here were tired of watching a zero emotion team and Manager.

There's a lot of red in his fangraphs page. He really should finish with some decent numbers.
