Whether or not it "works" isn't the point. Its just bad management. And it's a recurring theme. Driving drunk and getting home safe doesn't make it a good decision.

TC should be in sell mode now.  Today.  40-45 record and 4 games back for a wild card spot.  Pitching is regressing.  Hitting is damn near non-existent.  Defense is shaky at best.  Base running comica

I listened in agreement to Plouffe yesterday during the Twins Score North Podcast. He made one very important point about "aggressiveness." It is not in the Twins' and Rocco's vocabulary. EXAMPLES:  B

If you include Lewis in this conversation, I almost think this is a FO strategy.  Have these players play just hurt or down enough that you can't trade them, but play enough that you can blame the lack of success on injuries and bad luck, so you don't have to change and yet still get paid.

75 pitches and in control, throwing real easy through 5 innings. Does Sim get pulled after 6 innings if it is 3 up/ 3 down and the inning ends at 88 pitches? I wondered about this last night with Ryan and a few people took it as complaining, which was totally wrong. I wonder how this is done.

As I type Stewart is warming up and it seems the Twins might pull Sim now. I'm not seeing the odds. Having pitched hundreds of times and managed a similar number I'm not seeing the protection angle but will concede there may be analytics involved. How are they working?

Let him go back out there why not? The season is shot we have no starting pitchers left. Just have someone ready.
