After leaving the Twins, he overcame that unfortunate name to become a pretty good pitcher fur several years. I mean, did he have that cosmetic surgery for his nose? (For real. Apparently he'd talk about nose jobs in the bullpen)
Peter Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Way way way too many pitches!!! Festa isnt ready yet for mlb

CRF Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 OUCH! Not the kind of start we wanted. Still plenty of time to come back. Patzky 1
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Now we get to see if Festa has some Zebby and can hold the A's at 4 for 5-6 more innings. mrtwinsfan 1
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Well it's a Matthew's start again , 4 runs in first a couple of starts ago ... Festa won't probably be able to duplicate 7 innings though , 33 pitches in first inning ... Doctor Gast and Patzky 2
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Festa -hopefully does what Zebby did couple starts ago , wasent that also 4-0 ?after 1-inning and we won that game shortround81, Parfigliano and Blyleven2011 3

That and a favorable strike zone. Blyleven2011 and shortround81 2

Be interesting to see if he squeezes the A's pitcher today... shortround81, Ottomatic1990 and Doctor Gast 3

HarmonK03 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Festa got squeezed, that was strike 3 on Wilson. He would have been out of the inning with one run only. He can't let it affect him, but it's a tight strike zone. Ottomatic1990, jmlease1 and Doctor Gast 3

cheeseheadgophfan Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Three blown strike calls by the home plate ump in the inning.....including a missed strike 3 call. Festa should have been out of that inning.... jmlease1, Peter, Ottomatic1990 and 4 others 5 1 1

Twodogs Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Nice bunt. Looks like a line drive in the box score!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Lee looks lost sometimes , 1st pitch again why ???????? Patzky and Ottomatic1990 1 1
Blyleven2011 Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Wonder who called the bunt , Clemens or Rocco , be interesting to know , a very good bunt and good hustle for Clemens ... The bunt hit was the twins first hit of the game ... Ottomatic1990 and Doctor Gast 2
LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted June 5, 2025 Posted June 5, 2025 Wow, Lee just does not look good at the plate. I thought it was just a problem right handed but he isn't hitting much with any authority left handed either. This is starting to look like last year where he started ok and just faded out to being unplayable. Patzky and Ottomatic1990 2
