Still experiencing headaches and while hitting he's having difficulty  seeing the ball.

Best to try again later. Doubt the heat and bright sun would be helpful for him. Poor dude.

I will follow with, that was as of Monday. Hopefully he's improving.

I strangely thought, perhaps, that McCusker might get a start on get-away day.  Nope.

I didn't expect McCusker would play much given Baldelli's past practices, and goodness knows he hasn't shown much in very limited opportunities, but getting only 5 AB over the last dozen days is going to create a layer of rust rarely seen outside an abandoned industrial park.

Lee at clean-up 😐

Read this in a Gleeman article this morning. Lee’s batting .288 with runners on base overall, .345 with runners in scoring position and .360 in high-leverage situations. He also has a positive WPA.

No🦌, no Wallner, no Bader, Lewis doing that slump thing. Not many options for Rocco.

I kinda prefer the slow move up the lineup that Clemens is taking.  If Clemens keeps raking and moving up and Lee keeps struggling, I hope Rocco does with Lee what he's doing with Clemens.  Lee's been terrible in May and that seems to coincide when he's moved up to the top part of the lineup.

Yes, Rocco does have limited options.  Buxton, Bader and Wallner's full returns can't come soon enough and should mostly solve this.  Well, Bader will probably still be at the bottom, and that isn't necessarily a bad thing for turning the lineup over.

Interesting. Didn't think the numbers were that strong for Lee especially because he's been scuffling a bit of late. Hopefully he gets the chance to drive in some runs today and comes through!

Who would have thought that Clemens would have such a positive impact! Looks like a keeper.
