RpR Verified Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Send Julien down and bring McCusker up; Bader, Buxton and he would make a fairly decent outfield - on paper at least. Blyleven2011 1

He could have been working for the Big Ten Network and maybe actually watching meaningful games. I may be misremembering, but I feel like when the Twins started their TV deal debacle last season he had some underlying frustration that he left the radio side for the TV role and wasn't able to essentially be on screen

It's like listening to a DJ try to hype up and empty club.... It took until the Twins were in Sept. free-fall before the announcers became despondent, give it time. shortround81 1

What is true is that he took the job with the understanding that he would be on Twins.TV (like this year) and was pumped about the lack of blackouts and hopefully more eyeballs. Then the rug was pulled out for one more TV deal and an extra few dollars. shortround81 and Richie the Rally Goat 2

jaimedude Verified Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 Maybe just maybe the coaches that were fired were not the problem and it is the spin the wheel line-up manager dude after all. That and having five or 6 AAAA talents on the roster. I would rather take my chances on younger guy's with talent that are making mistakes then continue an old tired roster with has been's, never were's and mistake prone professionals. The veterans on the roster that have talent have dudes hitting by them that shouldn't be here. I mean some of these dudes are 28, 29 years old. If they haven't found it by now they never will. Everyone is gonna start running the bases at will on the Twins. 13 and 20 you could get that record with some of the Saints and Whichita roster just about. hitterscount 1

Is Boston still ahead of us even here?
Irishman Verified Member Posted May 3, 2025 Posted May 3, 2025 In the last four games, the Twins scored seven runs. Not good! They are awful. Very disappointing. It is necessary to change the hitting coach. This manager should be fired. FO must be changed. Sadly, the owner of the Twins will not. If so, I will not attend the games. Tlaker 1

But, the Giants were stealing signs with a spyglass from Durocher 's office in deep center at the Polo Grounds. Hmmmmmmmm Mortimerkenny21 1

Good defense, speed, enthusiasm and he knows some of the guys. Can't be any worse than the some of the cartoon characters wearing Twins uniforms. He could help the Twins just with his speed and defense. Can't be worse then the boring bland crap happening now. That and the Twins drafted him so he knows they system. That mustache guy is a curse.
