It’s not like Chicago isn’t coming back to town later this season. The radar was pretty clear about it raining all afternoon. Idk why they even started the game today.

I think a lot of fans are feeling this way right now

Nobody wants to watch a doubleheader between these two teams. Best case scenario was that they called the game after five innings.

Twins radio is now playing flashback to Hrbek's first game; partly it shows how much better Twins game broadcasters used to be!

Also, Hrbek's home run won the game against the Yankees.

Of course that was back in the days before Gardenhire sold the Twins soul to the Yankees.

We won series against white Sox-now we just need to continue winning series rest of season and get over .500 back into division race!

Stop trying to make us optimistic.  Part of the joy of baseball is wallowing in the awfulness. Nobody wants to be a middle-of-the-pack team.

If they lose, The twins will be responsible for 33% of the White Sox wins for 2025

And the White Sox will be 44% of the Twins' wins.

OR 50% if they manage to pull this one off somehow.

It's the bridesmaid's job to make the Bride look good

(Did I do that correctly? I stopped exercising a long time ago, so it's hard for me to keep up on running jokes)

A double header between these teams would have been the perfect time to announce a new promo day 50 cent beer day

The other day I watched, in its entirety, a game from 1989 between the twins and Red Sox. A loss. Juan Berenguer got lit up in relief and the dazzle man and crazy Wally Backman homered. Still far more enjoyable a watch that anything I’ve seen from this bunch in modern times

That’s a symbiotic relationship. They need each other to survive.

I can watch any game between any two teams from that era over even postseason games from about 2016 on.

So you are saying that a MLB game between guys that are plumbers, store clerks, shoe salesmen, etc in the offseason….. is more entertaining than watching the prima donnas of today?🤷‍♂️

If so, I agree 💯 !!
