Cleve is doing a bullpen game and they're up 2-0. They also have a perfecto going with 4 pitchers so far.

If this hold up will be 3 back with 4 games left. How The F did we crash and burn sooo bad and how did Detroit get hot??? Seriously unf—king real

To this degree is incredible, but their collapse wasn't all that much of a surprise.

We all knew the starting pitching was going to fall off a cliff due to the lack of depth and reliance on rookie pitchers that were rushed to the majors, forced to stretch themselves more than they ever have in their career. Which made bullpen management extremely important, which is very evidently one of Roccos great weaknesses. Which then greatly exposed the lack of bullpen depth.

The offensive woes are seemingly just a clubhouse that lost all hope when their oft hurt stars were hurt once more, and just gave up at the first sign of trouble.

Mediocre team with no depth and poor leadership.

Twins pacing to a 52-110 season over the past 6 weeks. They were pacing to a 92 win season prior to that last loss in Texas.

There is no pace. It is a made up thing by pacers.

You might be right. KC is young and good. Detroit is young and good. And, Cleveland is competitive every year.

Indians fans losing their minds that Friedl bunt for a base hit in the 7th of a perfect game.

Um, hey morons, it's a 2-0 game.  That's well within the rules.  And now it's 2-1.

That's one franchise I hope gets whitewashed in the playoffs...unless they're playing the Yankees.  Then I'll just cover my eyes and watch the new Matlock or something.

I do fear next year is going to be a disaster.

I don't think KC is going to be as successful as people think they will. But Detroit and Cleveland look juggernaughty. For quite awhile.

Another unprofessional AB by Buxton.  Someone needs to teach him some plate discipline in the offseason though if he hasn't learned by now, he never will.

None of our guys on the field look like they even want to be there. Total despair. Total surrender. How they have played for the home crowd this last 6 weeks is pathetic. Brooks Lee appears so far overrated it is comical. Historical choke. It had to be the Twins. Ready for the bag on your head? The roster construction was so overrated with optimism. It makes the home sportswriters look pretty strained.

Having watched the Twin since their start, I have seen a few Sept./Oct. collapse seasons.

Very sad and annoying, especially Gardenhire, but still not as bad as the Viqueens.

It's only the 3rd inning and a 3 run game. I've seen the twins rally from worse.

You are correct; it is when they jump out to a nice lead and still lose, that is worse.

I'm not even concerning myself with those teams. I'm just looking at the twins organization. They don't have much help in the high minors. There's no one that we're thinking "I hope they get invited to Spring Training!". Emmanuel Rodriguez might be ready to be a major leaguer next year but he'll be 22 and no one should really expect him to be a true contributor yet.

The payroll is ballooning with a bunch of players hitting arbitration and Pablo getting a big raise, so we may have to expect some exodus. And we can't really expect any outside help to fill any holes like 1B or CF.

Other than that, I'm pretty optimistic.

Not as bad as the Vikings, but the worst in twins history, strictly talking about games ahead and how quickly they blew it

This right now is a disaster.  There must be real changes.  Everyone has checked out

I'm just saying...things are probably going to get worse before they get better.
