The inherited runners percentage goes up again.  Alcala overthrows on every pitch to India and then lays a fat cookie to de la Cruz who had the eye for all those off-speed pitches that Ober was serving up there.  

And the inning was started with a reminder of the GM malpractice with the Mahle trade.  Now I gotta go find my receipt.

And this was the only favorable pitching matchup of the series. Staring down the barrel of a sweep. Even losing 2 of 3 at home would be embarassing. To a sub .500 team, at home, in a wildcard race.

It was widely panned as an overpay at the time and it sure didn't disappoint
