Twins win the season series over the Astros so that'll mean if they can come back to win the division, they'll have the tiebreaker for the bye over both of the West's representatives if it comes to that.

Not a walk off, but a blown save in the 10th that the Twins won in the 11th.

I think Miranda got a walkoff off of Hader in 2022, when Hader was with the Brewers.

Edit to add: that is correct, Miranda hit a three-run blast off Hader in the bottom of the ninth. I should remember, I was there.

Awesome !!   even though astros are better on the road,   still great to have that chip if needed

Yes, I added that after they mentioned it in the radio postgame.

I'll add that the tiebreaker also stands for wildcard seeding and there are no game 163s, so if the Twins tie either Seattle or Houston for a wildcard, they win out.

Basically 6 games up on Houston.

Good as he's been, I wonder if there's any other team that he's blown a save or given up a walk off for each of the teams he's played for.

Gee, who could have predicted Margot would come up in a key spot late in the game against a RH reliever??

We need a MLB manager.

We won 🤷🏻‍♂️

They just said xrays were negative for anything broken for Correa ... but still really unknown his status

Hey if we have to limp to the break with Santana Castro Lee Miranda as the infield that's not the worst thing in the world. Or call up Julien if desired, but we do need a starter for Monday and Sunday.

Send Correa to IL and call up your starter whether Varland Paddack or 'other'.

It will be interesting to see what they do. Correa won't want to go to the IL but he may not have a choice. We'll see ... hopefully ice has done what's needed, but all those bones in your hand can be tricky. If Miranda did have so much padding around his hand yesterday, that could have been the same story

Audra just tweeted that Correa said in the clubhouse postgame that he'll be in the lineup tomorrow.

Not surprised ... just said above he won't want to go to the IL ... the guys are having way too much fun right now

I'm real happy to be done with these guys (maybe we aren't who knows!) Take 2 out of three in Chicago and Frisco, slide into the break in a happy place. The way we're playing right now Cleveland doesn't even bother me.

Guess we will find out the roster plans before tomorrow eh. Perfect world IMHO. Send Correa to IL and call up Paddack. Send Winder down and call up Julien. Might use Bowman later in the week if needed..

Keep him around to PH then. Drop Winder call up Paddack.

Can't work that way since they're at 13 pitchers now and can't have 14 on the roster. It should be Winder to AAA.

But playing like we have ... and we've made no ground on Cleveland!!! Argh!!! Cleveland just has to fall off a cliff eventually, don't they?

I'll complete the weekend series and be in attendance for today's finale.

Mr Woods Richardson, I'm counting on you. Don't turn this into a waste of $32, son.

Did ya get yer money's worth?

Correa is an all star...

Correa seems like a guy who would want to be there, but it would be an easy swap to send Castro if Correa's hand is at all an issue in in the next several days.

Nobody wants to advance through the wild card, but the Twins have the edge over Kansas City (5-2) and Boston (2-1). They have won the season series against both Houston and Seattle, so they sit with a lot of tiebreakers in their favor.

They are still six games behind Cleveland and play the same two teams that the Guards have just completed playing (Twins on the road, Cleveland at home) before the All-Star break.
