Just look at him. He rarely walks the dug out encouraging players. He watches plays that should emote some emotion, yet he looks like a statue. The only thing he seems to have mastered is 1)Mis-management of a pitching staff, 2) chewing and spitting seeds, and making sure he puts the cap back on his pen. CRF 1

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 If watching and cheering the Twins would be an economic exercise, we'd be seeing a negative return on our investment.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted August 10, 2023 Posted August 10, 2023 Twins baseball is like learning how to drive a stick shift. a lot of herky, jerky motion, with occasional stalling out and just a few stretches of smooth driving. Vanimal46 1

I certainly believe Francona would have this team in a better spot. Dusty Baker too. Rocco can't squeeze blood from a turnip. That's not the question. The question is, is he able to squeeze all the turnip juice out. I'm not certain, but there's plenty of reason to question that. Dave Borton, CRF and TwinsDr2021 3

Look at the whole picture and tell me if this guy doesn't have some serious issues on guiding a team. Yes, not all his fault, but he contributes way too much, to some of this teams issues. He does not have these guys ready to play on a day in and day out basis. They never take BP or infield. Go find me another manager in this league that pinch hits for guys in the 2nd inning. He has about as much fire and personality as that teacher in Ferris Buellers Day Off. Dave Borton 1
