A catcher who can also DH? Jeffers is looking really good right now with 3 more years of control. I did not see this coming. You have to give Conger some credit as a very valuable member of the coaching staff. Good with the catchers, really good in the clubhouse and perfect for the very social 1st base coach job.

I wonder if Conger has kids. Hope so. That way the Twins could hire one as 1st base coach when Hank retires.

Why do the Twins batters keep watching those close third strikes? Then they walk back to the dugout shaking their heads. Especially the outside calls. Why not slap it away? Do they want to be right or do they want to keep in the at bat?

Weird, I'm used to the whole month of September being AL Central matchups. We're already done facing the Tigers and Royals, huh? Still 6 more against Cleveland...

Twins always seem to struggle with the weaker teams, especially in the ALC.  Kansas City and Detroit play like playoff contenders when they square off against the Twins, a lot of the time.

Yes, indeed.  They shakes their heads and mumble to themselves.  They have to be annoyed with themselves more than the opposing pitcher.
