Given the team's struggles against lefties, I get not playing Julien. But I wonder if this divisional 'race' is going to be so tight that we can't afford to let Julien play more against them and figure out some adjustments. I'm not wanting to accept already that his ceiling is that of a somewhat better version of Randy Bush.

Definitely. There's going to be a time, due to injury, strategy or whatever, that Julien will have to face a lefty.  I would like to see him have some semblance of experience against one. If we make the playoffs, the quality of lefthanders will be evident.

Don't accept it, he is a rookie, give him time

Time only helps if he spends it playing (against lefties).

Patience, he will but you don't throw him into the fire

Giving him a spot start here or there against a lefty is hardly throwing him into the fire.

He's got to learn at some time.  He can't do that from the bench.

Yes exactly, last night would have been a good time but not tonight against one of the better lefty starters in the league

Fair, but he didn't play last night either.  He should be playing in one of these games.  It's fair to criticize that he isn't.

Disappointing to see Winder as a struggling mop-up reliever, I had high hopes for him as a #4/5 starter.

He may just make that............in St Paul

I suppose that he can still find something, but it certainly is disappointing.

This game has been rather deflating...

The only good thing about this game is that this year it only lasts 2:30 instead of 3:30.
