That reminds me that I that yesterday was the 30th anniversary of Robin Ventura, um, making a poor decision regarding Nolan Ryan.

Thats how we end up with a gassed pen with one guy never pitching.  If Kuechel is good for 6 tomorrow, Winder sits.  Waiting for the perfect opportunity that never comes.

I'm finding it harder and harder to believe that there isn't someone at AAA who could be significantly better than Gallo. Over the last 30 days (doesn't include today's 3ks), Gallo has an OPS under .500 and a K% of 53%.

If Winder never sees the mound because our starters went 6+, isn't that a good thing.  He is there to clean up a mess like Ryan had or a pitcher injury.

Hey, to those following Gameday the data entry person messed up. Wallner hit a single, scoring Farmer. It was Castro, batting next, who popped out to short. It's 12-1.

Thats a fantastic thing.  When we have a 10 run lead take the innings off the regular relievers too.  Moran pitching here is not ideal.

If there was a plan to need a long reliever tomorrow plan to bring that guy up tomorrow fresh, don't continually go a man down.
