Is Gallo worse than Sano was?  Seems like he get's a "pass" where as Sano would have had "total system failure" assigned to him.

Gallo can play the field.  When you can play above average corner OF, fill in at CF and play 1st base, it helps out.  If Sano could play + defense in RF or LF he would still be in the league.

Beat me to it.  Gallo has defensive value.  Sano didn't.  That's basically the difference.

He has potential, but he needs to work on the "out" pitch.  He gets ahead but guys seem to hang around.

what a horrible game so far. Pitching has been dreadful. Yeah 3 solo HR's for us and a ton of k's too. Ryan didn't have a thing today. And the pen has been no better. Yikes. Since the 8th inning last night, Mariners are owned our pitching staff.

Gallo has fanned 13 of his last 18 AB's. I honestly don't think that the occasional HR can justify keeping in the lineup. I hope the Twins release him. Can't imagine anyone who replaces him to possibly be worse, I understand he is decent defensively but way too much of a liability at the plate to offset...if you consider your team to be a post season contender.

Jovani Moran changed the course of this series with his incredibly awful 3 batter performance last night.

Cruising to a 6-2 win, everyone feeling great, players playing loose and free, Seattle drudging along to a loss, then boom.
