Loop d loop in white salmon. Great wine. Very small.

Interesting. I'll have to try it.

Next time you're out that way, I recommend Syncline. Great Rhone wines about ten miles east of White Salmon.

They just were showing Rocco talking to the ump after the interference call...does he have a piercing under his lower lip? Kind of looked like it. Or do I need different glasses?

Was this the time of the game to quote the Beatles?

You tell me.

Taking yesterday as a new beginning. From Rocco finally realizing change is needed and the pre-game interviews with the star players acknowledging the same and then go out and have a killer game brought a ray of hope

Ober is really pitching a nice game, but we're back to the silent bat treatment. We need to get a few more runs for him.

Cool, Baumann is pitching. He was in the same graduating class at Mahtomedi as I was. Great to see him doing well in the majors!

How many years were you left back?  Just kidding.

Yeah, let's not have deja vu all over again!

If Lewis goes on the IL they need to let the head trainer go. I know baseball can be a rough game but IMO, they need a new conditioning plan.  You probably roll your eyes but gymnastics is as tough or tougher on the bodies as baseball.  One reason they are so strong is the amount of time they condition.  They spend as much time conditioning as they do learning new skills.  Mine are at a higher level and spend a great deal of time on core conditioning and flexibility

You are correct. Beer can curls don't count, right?

We're just 3 months into the regime of the new guy. And isn't this about the third guy, during the FalVine regime?

If there's a problem, it has to be some kind of "organizational philosophy" that constrains the conditioning people they hire.

Every team has injuries, though, so I'd want someone to dig deeper if the Twins really have a problem there.  Do we really have more of some certain type of injury, for instance, and on players who don't already have such a history?

And I think you're right, too.  Maybe it's the way we view, assess, and treat injuries.  Maybe our rehab program needs a looksie, as well.

"Long run for Gallo."

Or, should it be, "long run. For Gallo."

Gallo has got a great arm.  Watching him throw, so effortlessly and with distance.

Seven hits and a couple walks, but unable to put anything together. GDP and a CS don't help.

To be fair we don’t know how much or how they train. From the outside it seems something needs to change or be implemented.  Lewis and Buxton are fairly young.   Seems Lewis might be Buxton v2

I remember Berrios having a tough offseason regime and it must be working as I do not think he has ever been on the IL

No reason to worry about the arm.  Watching him lumber toward that lazy fly toward the foul line just helped confirm that the 5 innings he's played in CF so far this season looks like about right - despite talk in the offseason that he's an option in center, he's just not.

Swapping him and Max in LF/RF would make sense to me, as I think Kepler has slightly better foot speed, but there are egos to contend with.

Yeah, he's not a centerfielder.

Just do not like pinch hitting with two outs and none on when the team is ahead to get a worse fielding team on the field.

That's our last bench bat, except Jeffers as backup catcher today.  Rocco's fired all the bullets now.  Who knows if the 9th would have been a better use for Castro.
