Edit: Seriously do were have to go over Bailey Ober's career again? Give it up man! Ober only had 85 pitches and the bottom of the order was coming up. We only have 2 reliable relivers, and luckily both were efficient and should be available tomorrow. That was just my 2 cents

De León hasn't been placed on the 60-day list as of yet. Why would they want to add Garlick? I would rather take my chances with Wallner or Larnach TBH.

That was just my 2 cents If their bullpen was depleted, they might have let Ober go on more inning, but just look at what has happened to Gray when they try to squeeze that extra frame out of the starter, hasn't gone well.

The metrics will soon tell them that if he exceeds X amount of innings they'll have to shut him down. Bet

Yes, Thats what makes it so frustrating , knowing the Talents there,Twins have a great opportunity keep this up goin into the All star break , Will they take it ???????????? I hope so. But with Lewis going down the Twins need next man up to step up. Whoever it is. I watched a lot of lethargic Twins baseball in May and June. No sense of urgency. 1 good offensive game yesterday. 2 well pitched games and solid bullpen games is a good start.

That was just my 2 cents If Bailey Ober turns in a performance like this in late September, you will be able to look back at days just like today to understand how he got there.

insagt1 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 I am stunned that TWins pulled off a 1-0 win..with the game winning hit from Gallo. O's are suddenly ice cold. their first real slump of the season. Sometimes you catch a good team having a tough time of it and you take advantage. Like what the Twins have done so far in Baltimore. O's hitters looked very Twin-esque these last 2 games. Ober is really starting to impress this season. Hope this is a trend! One sorta nice thing is when your two favorite teams play each other...one favorite team always wins. oh yeah, then there's the other part of that equation.....

But watching him all year he hasn't chased down anything this year. Any ball hit in the gap he defers to Taylor even if he's closer. And he's played that overhang to the tune of 3 or 4 triples.
