Maeda is coming off Tommy John so I can empathize with him more than Mahle at this point.

Nitpick alert:

In this case the ball isn't being doctored. What is doctored is the pitcher's fingers, enabling him to get a better grip on the ball.

8 strikeouts through 4 innings. No hits. Nothing out of the infield. This is horrendous baseball and to be honest it's the type of thing that I expected to see in this series. Which, I suppose, is what made Thursday and Friday so fun. 

Twins crashing back to earth here and bringing all of us with them. You shouldn't see 8 strikeouts in 4 innings in a professional baseball game.

The pitcher is/was using something to enhance grip. Let's see if the bats wake up now since he was caught and probably washed it off.
