Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Arraez has been hitting a ton of lazy fly balls as of late.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I expected more. Houston is a band box, and Correa was benefitting from playing in perhaps the best hitter's park outside of NYY. He's good, but not as good as advertised that's for sure.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 If we see 8 pitches, is that progress?

He's certainly not hitting like he's done in the past, or can, but he's playing a great short. I agree though...it sure would be nice to see him smack the ball around and drive in some runs.

In the Twins' lineup, he needs to carry the team too often and I don't think he is that good.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Not great at bats so far. Clearly planning on attacking the fastball early in the count to avoid the breaking ball, but just pounding it into the ground.
