What a starting outfield for the Twins! Cave, Contreras (don't ask me to bunt), and Gordon. Hurry back, Celestino. And hope Garlick and Buxton aren't put on the IL. Who else do we have?

Rumor somewhere was Sano has been placed on the 60 day? And with 2 months to go, that means he might be available for a game or two before the play offs?

Does that also give us some flexibility regarding post season rosters? Or is that a loophole from years ago which has since been closed?

Last week after Buxton was running around the bases and even stole one,  i was thinking he might be getting to be himself again,  NOW?? need these guys healthy

It’s not great but this is hardly their (entire) fault. They cant predict injuries and they should be livid with the staff for not taking care of AK, Buck we could have predicted just because and we had the backups ready to go (Gordon, Celestino, Garlick). Add in losing Kep and Garlick to injuries, and Celestino to the paternity list (I think that’s why…) and you get the outfield that Rocco presents to us tonight. This is the culmination of a lot of sh*t gone sideways the last few weeks.

Non-useful bench tonight, except when Detroit brings in a lefty for Garlick to mash.  I presume Buxton is deemed unavailable.  Beckham pinch hitting for someone is a futile gesture.  Hamilton for catcher only if absolutely needed.

Urshela is sooo slow - another GIDP for that guy. Miguel Cabrera and Albert Pujols are the only other two guys in the league that would have been doubled up there. 

Twins gotta get more aggressive when they have a guy on 1st and Gio is up, would have been better to watch Gordon at least try and steal there.

Urshela has GIDP 15 (16 with today?) times, Pujols (8) and Cabrera (7) - 15 together.

He seems to have a point.

Definitely agree that Gordon needs to steal there, or at least try, with Urshela at the plate.
