You put way too much stock in the BRAND NAMES. I've watched a lot of AL east games. They're on mlb network nearly every night. The Jay's and Rays and red Sox don't strike fear in the rest of the league as they appear to do to you. If the Twins were in the AL east they'd be battling for a wild card

21-26 the last 47 games.  4-8 start.  23-8 run in between.  Take the top 7 players off the Yankees.  or any team for that matter.  How much worse  do you think they would be?  Alot.  Those 7 players are the ONLY reason this team is over .500.  It only takes a couple of players to make a difference.  I think without Correa, this team is 4-6 games worse

You should look into the Los Angeles Angels sometime. They have some opinions on the idea that "it only takes a couple of players to make a difference."
