The Pitchers

RHP Jason Alexander (2-1, 4.75 ERA, 17K, 36IP, -0.3 bWAR) vs RHP Josh Winder (4-2, 3.12 ERA, 27K, 40.1IP, 0.7 bWAR)

The Twins will avoid the two headed monster at the top of the Brewer's rotation in Brandon Woodruff and Corbin Burnes, and instead will be lined up with Jason Alexander in game one, making his 7th start of the season. Despite the below average surface numbers, Alexander has pretty good below the surface numbers. Alexander started against the Cubs last time out, going 5.1IP, allowing 7 runs, 6 earned, on 8 hits while allowing a home run, and walking and striking out 2. This was his first start back in the rotation, but he did throw 94 pitches. He throws a mid 90's fastball, a slower slider, a great sinker, and an above average changeup to left handed hitters. Winder will look to keep things going and provide some length against a good Brewers lineup.

Cordova pitched nine innings before being removed with the score 0-0. Rincon pitched the tenth and got the win when Mark Smith hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning.

The batting order goes 2 by 2, hurrah, hurrah.

Weird how the handedness of batters seems to come in pairs.... So used to more alternating due to making it difficult to play relief pitcher match up poker..

20% chance of showers?  Roof stuck?  9 mph winds? Are they opening all the windows?

Let's get real.

The roof got stuck in the funding stage.

You know how we had Mauer and Morneau as the M&M boys?

Am i allowed to dub Alex and Max as the K boys? Or would it have to be the K&K boys? Or might that be taken amiss?

As long as they don’t have a third hitter whose name starts with “K”.

Two teams with similar records. The Twins will miss Milwaukee’s top starters and they are at home. One win would be mildly disappointing and losing both would be a real lost opportunity.

Ok...let's get the runs back right away off of George Costanza.

Thanks! I haven't watched much for the past week or so. Wasn't sure.

Ah, sorry. I thought it was an indirect query as to the most recent play.

I have been in and out a bit as well, so i am not 100% sure either.
