wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2022 Author Posted June 28, 2022 Swinging freely thus far, I see.

If indeed the Easternmost Taco John's is in Ohio, then any flight between two eastern seaboard locations would feature the same number of Taco John's as a direct driving route would.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Pleasac almost always goes to that slider....which he throws very well...when he gets ahead. Hopefully they are patient with it today. Twins didn't do much of anything against him last week. Edit: Correa is patient and earns the walk as I typed this out

But airliners won't fit through a drive-thru!

Just wondering." With Smeltzer being a contact pitcher, I believe that we need the best defense available. I don't believe having Garlick in the outfield is a good defensive move (look at the 4/15 game at Boston where he allows a very catchable ball to become a homerun). I would have preferred Urshela at 3rd over Miranda, which means that Miranda will probably have a big game. I had hoped Buxton would be DH for both games. Agreed, I'd take out Garlic all together (for a righty) and put Arraez at DH would be much better defensively.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Max with 34 BB's to 39 K's so far this season. Both his BB% and K% are career bests. On the flip side his ISO and SLG would be career lows...take it for what it's worth.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 They got a hit off Smeltzer? Unpossible!
Jerr Verified Member Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Ohhh, please not one of these games where defense makes errors!

Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 That's a freaking little league play right there. Someone call that, and get there. Just embarrasing.

Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Well, that was varying shades of pathetic.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Max had to lose that in the sun. There's no way he just stops like that if he knew where the ball was at.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 One run won’t win this game. At least not that one.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 Does not scoring walks also haunt? ok let’s go twins
