I think the point is that Garlick should never play against righties unless it's an emergency.  If he does play against a righty, he certainly shouldn't be batting cleanup.  This really shouldn't be debatable, and would seem to suggest that Rocco put the laptop away, as there is no data whatsoever that supports the decision to bat Garlick 4th against a righty.
