USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Just let the pitcher catch the pop up, FFS.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I wish I could think that it's just shortened spring training.
jmlease1 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I love having Buxton patrolling CF. He makes it look so easy out there. What a wonderful player to watch. He really looks locked in today. Please stay healthy/
Puckett34 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I know the infielders are supposed to call off the pitcher on that, but could the largest, furthest away player not call for it?

Sorry, didn't have time to warm up today...will try to bring it up a notch for you guys. My bad, was trying to make a joke about your Tyler Duffey fund, it all went down hill from there

jmlease1 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 1 minute ago, Squirrel said: Yeah. I’d call that an E3 It's not because it was so far out of the 1B's zone. Sano called for it because no one else did, but Sanchez probably should have since he had a much easier play (but he might not have been able to track it coming out from the plate) or Urshela (who also had a pretty long run). Of course Coloumbe could have just taken it, but every team trains pitcher to let someone else take those...fluke play. It happens. Fortunately no damage.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 For those waxing nostalgic about all things Metrodome (well, okay, just Dome Dogs, still) ... here's this for you, @shortround81 and @USAFChief:
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Not sure I would've used Alcala in a game that should be in our hands, but I trust Rocco I 'spose.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 I'm always a little skeptical of "therapy." I don't need some psychologist or therapist telling Mrs Chief and I how to get along better. But I got talked into it recently, and I've maybe softened my stance. Mrs Chief and I have fought for decades over the correct way to put the toilet paper on the holder---over or under. Well she got so tired of fighting about it she talked me into seeing someone. He suggested we try it the other person's way for 2 weeks. And I have to admit, there might be something to this roll reversal therapy.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Three games and not a single run yet... Only trots!
jmlease1 Verified Member Posted April 10, 2022 Posted April 10, 2022 Oh, my. That was a bomb. Correa sure liked that one!
