Question about the pitch clock in MiLB: Watching the Cedar Rapids game, the Kernels' pitcher repeatedly allowed the 18-second clock to expire with a runner on second. Isn't there a penalty for that? Do you get a number of freebies before it is enforced? Is it just advisory? Something else?

Much better inning for Ober. Interested to see if Rocco lets him take 9-1-2 once more, or if he goes to Winder for the 5th and 6th. I'd be shocked if he let him pitch to Winker again.

Bremer is ok as a play by play guy.  He's not perfect and can be monotonous.  But, I never  question his love of the game, whether he's calling it or not.
