Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Author Posted July 21, 2021 I did not volunteer to open this but I just happened to notice there was nothing. Go.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Nice job of posting start time, pitching and lineups.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Thanks. I think I beat you by a minute or two, but I'll delete my short introduction and we can go from there.

shortround81 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Miguel Sano . . . should be on another team
RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Rich Reese would have snagged that one!
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Our ace next year if Berrios is traded.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Ober may be better served to pitch inside a bit more. These hitters are too relaxed and just slapping at the ball. buzz their towers once in a while.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Ober vs CHW (3+ starts): 13.1 IP, 11 ER Ober vs others (5 starts): 20.2 IP, 11 ER I think Ober has seen enough of the Sox this year!

Yeah, it's time for him to change his Sox.

That's certainly a disproportionate amount of starts against one team. Especially one that lights you up!
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Huh, and I was just going to post something about how frustrating Kepler is to watch.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Garver had his hot streak last night.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Delmon Young in left field...... And scored a triple. Yup. A single and two base error scored a triple.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Fun fact: in his career against the Twins, Jose Abreu has hit 29 2Bs, 3 3Bs, and 24 HRs, resulting in a .290/.356/.504 (.860 OPS) line. However, this is exactly in line with his career .291 BA and .865 OPS, so you can't say he hits better vs the Twins.
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 I take it that @Brock Beauchamp didn't get around to almost posting something about how frustrating Kepler is to watch?
