It's not as exhausting as watching Kyle Gibson - but just sitting in a chair watching Maeda when he's nibbling is physically tiring. His numbers are good tonight but I gotta be honest it's not been fun to watch. Dare I say I miss the old "pitch-to-contact" days?

Manfred is taking a page from the WWE.  If the american league beats the national league,  he'll take his mask off in front of the crowd,

I cannot wait until Garver is back on the roster, hope he catches enough to give Rortvedt the boot.

Whenever I see Garver play I hope he catches enough……. Baseballs. Which on some days is questionable?

We don't have very many rbis...

I initially read this as "we don't have very many ribs" and was rather confused...

Truth. Though.....Berrios and Garver for the Dodgers top two prospects (pitcher and catcher) interests me.....ducks

Twins are being shut-out - wait, no hit -  by a rookie who's got 5 starts under his belt and a 7.80 ERA....Kaat added said that the kid just learned how to throw a slider last WEEK.

I've accepted the season was over months ago, but there's something about watching this particular team fail in this particular way that makes the whole experience feel just as painful as it did in April.

Getting no-hit by a guy with a 7+ ERA... good job, Twins.

You got your jab in first, but yeah I'm thinking the same thing. Yuck.

A hit!

Okay, Miguel Sano. All you need to do is hit a fly ball. Or a slow ground ball to the hole.

Just. Don't. Strike. Out.

Rortvedt's got this.

Rortvedt up there making Sano look like Rod Carew.

Why is Rortvedt playing and not Astudillo?

My pick-to-click tonight is Sano. Bet on it! :)

The aforementioned horrible beers seem an appropriate wager for this one.

God I’d love to hear the unfiltered opinion of Kaat. Guy pitched in 4 decades, under 7 US presidents, and threw 19 CGs in one year. Bet he has a thought or two

If someone is willing to pay big for Garver right now, trading him is fine. I’m just skeptical anyone will pay a premium right now after the up and down of the past 1.5 seasons.
