USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Sano Kd with the bases loaded and 2 outs? Well I guess it's true, you'll see something at every baseball game you've never seen before.
GCTF Verified Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 This season... Target Field Sano .889 OPS Everywhere else Sano .549 OPS Career splits show a home field edge but obviously not nearly this large.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 True story....meant to clean the toilets in the house today. Forgot until after that last Sano AB. I'm sure that is a coincidence.....
SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Just keep mindlessly firing it in there Robles, maybe someone will be dumb enough to swing at that garbage.

There isn't a silver bullet out there to fix the Twins' postseason woes. Over the course of almost two decades, they have found every way to lose imaginable. Their pitching was good by their standards, short season only playing divisional games, pitching would definitely make a difference

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 I go back to this: a struggling team finds a way to give their "ace" an unlikely lead in the middle innings of a game that you absolutely, positively HAVE to win to keep any shred of hope alive...and he coughs up that lead before you can say "How "bout that!!?!" Zero Ks. 4 runs in 5 IP. He's the most disappointing player on this team.

SanoMustGo Verified Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 It only took Robles 20 pitches to get no outs, and walk a batter...LOL And how about that vaunted infield defense.

Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 If I were the manager, I have no idea what I'd say or do at this point......like, what can he do at this point? One failure after another, and more often than not, by veterans.

During infield we'll be focusing on cutoffs, positioning, and situational throws,. During BP, I want everyone to focus on contact." Same schedule Saturday, starting 3 hours before game time. Same schedule every day next week."
