we should debate about who has stunk worse more often. it seems to be working

It's a debate that really could go on almost endlessly with this squad.

... and hopefully that trend will continue and won't reverse if/when vets are traded and if/when it becomes brutally obvious that Miranda has nothing left to prove down on the farm

I imagine that'll depend largely on who gets dealt.  Sano included.

This is how the White Sox beat the Twins the first game , maybe they can get a payback.

Larnach seems to be doing an imitation of Sano as far as strike outs go.

Here again is where they miss Rosario; Larnach is slow and has what looks to be a very weak arm.

Had Larnach not bounced the ball to Donaldson there would have been no interference but Donaldson had to run back to get the ball.

Rosario had strong arm.

Larnach has been much more valuable than Rosario in far fewer games. I don't think the Twins miss much of anything about Rosario this season.

At least Larnach can claim that he's still adjusting to MLB pitching.  Sano has no such excuse.

not a single reason to throw a strike when miguel has two on him. throw it to the upper deck and he'll swing

Oh I don’t know, what part of the the Twins game is better without him. The one variable analytics can’t measure is heart, which the Twins have none. They are like a team of tin men. That’s what I miss about Rosario

True, Rosario led the 2016 Twins to greatness.

This is where Berrios needs to be a good pitcher.  He has the lead now.  After Grandal, a good pitcher would have his way with the next five guys.

Edit: Thanks, Polanco.

Lady Success doesn't hang around this team very long, does she?

She mostly stands behind the other team and winks.....or so I've been told by people that watch the games not on Gamecast...

Yea you’ll make all the Rosario haters give you likes with that, but he’s a good ballplayer, and Larnach doesn’t have near the arm he has

I'm actually quite a fan of Rosario, I merely refuse to bestow mythical greatness on his ability to get everyone around him to overperform.

Of all the things to question the FO about--and there are a lot of those things--not retaining Rosario is pretty far down the list.
