As I said in my first post I heard this newbies bs about Buxton, Hicks and Sano around ten years ago and gee the only really good year was 2019 when they had a lot of import veterans not the newbies that so many think will be some sort of miracle. Arraez replaced Schoop , compare their numbers this year and Schoop was not a fielding liability.

That's a great idea! May as well have some fun like that. I remember Ceasar Tovar doing it in my teenage years.

I watched that too.... until it was 9-0. I am kinda pissed at both Vandy and Mississippi State. Not one good game in the final series. All three were blowouts.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Tonight is a powerful argument for the 10 run rule.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 The Suns/Clippers was confusing for me. Chris Paul, Paul George. Who is who and which team are they on. Too many first names.... and I kept looking for John and Ringo.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 I stayed up all night last night, thinking about what the Twins need to do...and then it dawned on me.

RpR Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Wow, Baldelli has real pitcher pitching, why doesn't he crap on Celestino or Gordon the way he did on Astudillo and let one of them pitch. Better yet let Rortvedt pitch and Sano catch.?
RickOShea Verified Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Grandal hits 2 hrs and gets 5 rbi. How come his uniform isn't dirty? Ah, the days of yore.

Don't we see stuff like that daily on ESPN with all the little baseball fields and football fields and basketball courts and the overweight ex-pro-athletes demonstrating? I would not watch a bunch of fat old guys trying to hit home runs.

Yawn Gardenhose Verified Member Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 Morneau's summation after the final out of a 13-3 loss: "No breaks" LOL LOL LOL Or maybe he was actually saying "no brakes," as in there's nothing stopping this car-on-fire-going-downhill that is this season? Either way, impressive excuse making.
