I'd be shocked if the Twins plate a run tonight. Or tomorrow, frankly. They'll be swept out of Oakland.

Terrible start with awful weather, nutty extra innings games and these cracker jack 7 inning double-headers all over the place.

I do feel that this team will hit a stride at some point when summer hits, but right now they are really out of sync.

It started with the blown lead against the Mariners, then the Monday postponement, then a bad series with Boston, then the covid stuff. You’d have to wonder if that Mariners game had gone differently, would be this awful right now?

When you’re going good.......and the A’s are, all kinds of things seem to break your way. Right now things are not going well for the Twins. They aren’t as bad as they look right now, but the team they are putting out there right now looks pretty brutal.

Jesus Luzardo is throwing a gem. But to be fair, the real Jesus and his buddy Lazarus would probably have similar success

Watch him implode in the 5th

“In the minors they don’t tag on this ball, so I should be able to lolligag it”

I’m not up on prospect buzz like many here are, but isn’t he supposed to be one of our better ones? He’s been quite underwhelming so far

Not according to most analysts.

Rooker, Kirilloff, and Larnach all profile as corner OF with below average glove IIRC

Berrios is a pretty good pitcher - he throws like a #3 most times out, sometimes flashes ace potential every once in a while, and then in August he becomes a #5 for some reason. That's just who he is at this point.

Don't let that get in the way of the real problem here, which is the offense going 11 innings without a run... make it 14 if you go back to the Angels game.

Rooker is at least a tier below the AK/Larnach tier...not really profiled as a corner outfielder, and is likely a 1B long term. The + on him was his bat, but it hasn't done much this year. That said, neither have many of our guys.

Oh wow, we’re blaming this on him.

Nope. This game is just an example. Look at his stats in the playoffs and other big games. Dude just doesn't perform under pressure.
