Good afternoon and welcome to more Twins Daily Game Thread action! I had a whole different introduction planned for tonight but guess what? My plans changed. They changed for the better...my vendor came in from out of town and invited me to play golf today.  Teeing off in 1 hour! Can't say I play golf very well but I like the free drinks that will come with it today!  

 

It's 90+ degrees in Minneapolis today so I'll probably drop a few pounds too. Seems like a win, win proposition to me.  Now a win, win, win proposition would be the Twins putting (no golf pun intended) a thumping on the Indians tonight.

I’m wondering if this may be the final day for baseball for a while, since the NBA has started to have teams boycott due to BLM.....

I'm not sure the MLBPA will have the same consensus sentiments that the NBPA does.  Whether they should or not is a different question.

Enough of this cancel culture. We don't know enough about the situation to rush to a judgement. Sure it looks bad from far away but lets wait for the details. No need to cancel games.

Bye, Eddie. See you in a different uniform as soon as possible. Bone-headed plays mount, sprinkled with outfield assists and the occasional big fly from a pitch over your head.

Unfortunately, I don't think anybody is ready to play LF in our minor league system. Or is somebody ready, or nearly? For next year or the year after.

Uhh... I'm not sure you've got a solid grasp on the meaning of the term "cancel culture", but it has nothing to do with sports...
