Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Something about laughing last, or something
Darius Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 This has been a long time coming for Romo.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Duffey couldn't come back out after he threw 9 pitches and only sat through a 1-2-3 half inning?I was thinking that too... Romo still likely pitches after him, though.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Something about laughing last, or somethingI hope our laughing lasts... At least we got an out on the SF.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Wow Cleveland is really hamming it up in their dugout
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Something about laughing last, or somethingwe still have three more with Cleveland, so we’ll see who laughs last
Linus Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Bert: Romo has confidence in that breaking pitch. Ummm yea he throws it 80% of the time. The next time Bert says something enlighting will be the first.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Wow Cleveland is really hamming it up in their dugout Ramirez should get one near the head next time up. oh wait... this is the Twins.. that would be against the Minnesota Nice thing, right?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Wow Cleveland is really hamming it up in their dugoutthey got to romo
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I'm fine with the Indians talking. Romo has done it so far, and when you get beat, like he just did, you're going to get it back.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Ramirez should get one near the head next time up. oh wait... this is the Twins.. that would be against the Minnesota Nice thing, right?Lindor too
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Wow Cleveland is really hamming it up in their dugoutAnd they even turned down the canned crowd noise so we could hear it. How thoughtful.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I'm fine with the Indians talking. Romo has done it so far, and when you get beat, like he just did, you're going to get it back. They started it though, not Romo, he just responded
Shaitan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Duffy is pitching like the best reliever in baseball. And has been for about a year now. I hope he keeps it up.Except for the playoffs.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 we still have three more with Cleveland, so we’ll see who laughs lastWe were the loser, this series. Where the teams are at next time they play is anyone’s guess. But between the numerous injuries, the offense continuing to put up less than 5 runs a game, and the complete inability for the twins starters not named maeda to complete 6 innings, there’s a whole slew of problems that need to be sorted out ASAP
Linus Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I guess Rocco has thrown in the towel bringing this guy in. Sheesh
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Lindor too Screw it. Plunk them both. Bring in Alcala and let loose at the shoulders. Bring some tenacity. Where's the guy from the Dodgers when you need him. Dude wasn't even on the team.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 And they even turned down the canned crowd noise so we could hear it. How thoughtful. Don't forget the air conditioning in the Dome... Home field advantage.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 2 outs. No more infield fly rule...
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Screw it. Plunk them both. Bring in Alcala and let loose at the shoulders. Bring some tenacity. Where's the guy from the Dodgers when you need him. Dude wasn't even on the team. The only reason they go after Romo is because they’re not afraid of getting beaned by a slider
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Twins have scored more than 5 runs just 5 times in the month of August. Hard to believe
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Ramirez needs to get beaned here
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Twins have scored more than 5 runs just 5 times in the month of August. Hard to believe Maybe the offense isn't as good as expected? Perhaps career years are tough to back up?
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Twins don’t know how to stand up for their teammates
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Ramirez needs to get beaned here Won't happen. This organization is full of softies.
whosafraidofluigirussolo Verified Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 I was thinking that too... Romo still likely pitches after him, though.Sure - I'm just thinking, as long as Duffey has some gas left, try to get a little closer to the end of the game with him. If nothing else, you'd be sending him out against the middle of Cleveland's lineup.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Maybe the offense isn't as good as expected? Perhaps career years are tough to back up?Clearly there had to be regression expected. Just didn’t think it would be from EVERYONE
